Best-Vlees is a family business in Vladslo that specialises in high-quality
beef and veal. Founder Peter Bouckaert entered the meat industry at the age of 16. Initially he was active
in the slaughterhouse of his father and grandfather, and has run his own meat business since 1998. In the
meantime, his twin sons Jérôme and Jean-Louis also joined the company. With a three-headed team, we buy
live cattle and calves according to a strict selection procedure. After the slaughtering process, we cut
the meat in our own cutting room.
Result? High-quality end products and a delicious taste.
Tradition is in our blood
Quality and tradition are the core concepts of Best Meat. The Bouckaert family is closely linked to meat. The love of the trade has been passed on from father to son for several generations. We owe our knowledge to our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. In the meantime, we can rely on more than 30 years of experience in the trade. The entire process is closely monitored at our meat cutting plant in Vladslo. We only collaborate with top suppliers, who are committed on a daily basis and treat their animals with the utmost care.
Renewed cutting room
Our cutting room and machines have recently been completely renewed. This allows us to comply 100% with the correct cut and packaging demands of the customer. With our own fleet of refrigerated trucks, we always ensure that all deliveries reach their destination perfectly on time. Hygiene and food safety are top priorities for us at every step of the process. We daily cut and pack our quality meat. A transparent and constantly monitored process, as it should be.
